John joined the Rawlinsons Dunedin office in 1993 bringing hands-on experience as a Director of an electrical contractor and property development company. This experience has enabled John to develop into a specialist electrical estimator and Rawlinsons regularly rely on his authority, knowledge and expertise to peer review estimates and tenders nationally. John has been associated with a variety of landmark buildings and developments in Dunedin, including Forsyth Barr Stadium, as project quantity surveyor. His work has involved full-time contract administration and every aspect of cost and budget advice, together with in-depth brief development and value management, detailed cost planning, financial advice, contract documentation, tendering and administration. John has also developed a passion for environmentally sustainable design and has attended the NZ Green Building Councils “Education Design and Build Summit” as well as several other key Greenstar summits.
