Colin joined the Rawlinsons Christchurch office in 2004, having emigrated from his native Scotland.

Colin has previously held senior partner and director status for surveying companies in the Scottish Highlands where he worked on historic buildings, housing, commercial/hotel work, offices, retail, football stadia, distilleries and golf course construction for both private and public clients.

He also served on the RICS Oceania Sustainability working party for two years (2007–2009) and has been working towards becoming an accredited professional for Green Star NZ.

It is this experience and management skill that has proved to be a valuable asset for Rawlinsons.

Project highlights with Rawlinsons include prison contracts, bank fit-outs for ANZ, new-build schools projects, insurance earthquake repairs/settlement negotiations and bank drawdowns in the commercial sector.
