Before becoming a Rawlinsons Director in April 2019, David was an Associate Director at a large quantity surveying practice in Auckland and DTZ in London, and he was also a Director at Jones Lang LaSalle.

David is a specialist in delivering core pre- and post-contract QS services, and he has brought that knowledge and experience to the delivery of fast-track education, commercial, residential, retail and airport projects in both New Zealand and the UK.

David has detailed knowledge of the NZ and international hotel sectors and was involved in delivering New Zealand’s most prestigious 5-star hotel development. Other key experience includes acting as Client Representative (QS Fund Monitoring) for Scentre Group/GIC Westfield Shopping Mall Newmarket, and providing Bank Funding Reporting services for four high-quality residential developments in London and Surrey Borders, UK.
